"The restaurant is located on a typical tourist food strip, but appearances can be deceiving. They serve tacos in a Spanish fusion style – and they are the best tacos I’ve had in my entire life. The whole team, including the owner, is absolutely fantastic and clearly knows exactly what they’re doing. The interior hits exactly the right tone – very thoughtfully designed. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would."

"We visited Taco del Paco expecting some nice Mexican food on our holiday to Calpe, and got so much more. We ordered the roasted avocado, scallops, duck magret, and some potatas bravas, all to share. The dishes came out in a timely fashion despite some large groups ordering just before us. Each was unique in flavour with beautiful, fresh ingredients. As each dish arrived we were very pleasantly surprised by just how good it was. My partner ordered a local, independent, double IPA at 8.7% to drink, which was very tasty, would definitely recommend. Our server, Boris, who also turned out to be the owner was extremely attentive and friendly. He spoke very good English as well as Spanish, having lived in the UK which was also a nice surprise for us Brits. We don't normally get a dessert but as the food was so good, we couldn't turn it down - a locally flavoured Turron cheesecake which was also delightful. Overall, a wonderful experience and we will definitely be returning the soonest chance we get. You'd be mad not to try it."

"Our first time here, dinner with kids. A lot of tasty food choices and they have kids menu. Great service! We ordered Ossobuco flauta, roasted avocado, hanger steak + crunchy chicken taco, charred aubergine. It was very good, specially the Ossobuco! very recommended!"

"What a find. Opened 6 months ago, Boris (the boss) and Nelia (waitress) have done an amazing job. We had the special scallops with mango which were a great starter and lovely bright flavours. iberico pork taco will live in my dreams way longer than it lasted on my plate. The bean dip was great with the nachos. And the spicy patatas bravos were a great hit of flavour. We also had the mushroom and nopal taco, great veg option."
